End of life for some older Aloha versions

Please be advised that as of the 01 January 2012 we will no longer be supporting Aloha versions older than 6.0. If you have been paying your annual license fee and are not yet upgraded to version 6.0 or above you will automatically qualify for a free upgrade. If you have not been paying your annual license fee please contact our sales department as soon as possible to arrange for a suitable resolution. The latest version of Aloha software is version 6.7. The occasion was part of Radiant Systems annual sales conference. The conference attracts Aloha point of sale resellers from all around the world. This takes the total of awards won by inTouch Point-of-Sale over the years to 15.

inTouch Installs at UTC

inTouch has recently installed the first of 10 hostels at the prestigious University of Cape Town. The system was specfically designed and commissioned during months of close consulting with the institution. The state of the art system comprises of a user friendly student meal booking system linked directly to kitchen production and point of sale.

The system allows for student meal booking within defined parameters and ensures that the meal you want is the meal you get. Seamless integration with the inTouch touch-screen point of sale ensures that meal plans and dietary constrains are adhered to. From a catering perspective the system allows for easy planning and less chaotic serving periods.

The project was initiated two years ago and was managed by inTouch’s technical director John Blignaut. “We have incorporated all the requirements of UCT and also added other great features to the system that we highlighted during our market research program that we always run in tandem to any new software development program. This allows us to roll out to other vertical market like the mining industry, corporate catering as well as to tertiary education institutions.

The project is now well under way and just like UCT the system is proving to be very educational in its reporting and information. We look forward to a great relationship with UCT.
